          In China, they give a long name for their first son. This story is about a boy named “ Tikki tikki tembo-mo sa rembo-chari bari ruchi-pip peri pembo which mean “ the most wonderful thing in the whole wide world”. While his youngest sibling named Chang which mean “little or nothing”. The two brothers are always go to the old well. Even though their mother is always warned them not to go to the well. They don’t listen to their mother until one day Chang fell into the well. Tikki tikki tembo-mo sa rembo-chari bari ruchi-pip peri pembo run as fast to the mother. He tells what happend and the youngest son saves so fast and safely. They celebrating the Festival of the Eight moon and they ate their rice cakes close to the old well.Then Tikki tikki tembo-mo sa rembo-chari bari ruchi-pip peri pembo fell into the well. Chang ran so fast but the mother can’t understand what he because of the great long name and hardly to say. Since then, the Chinese have always given a short name to their children.

         Using this book, the children will learn about the different cultures.

         The illustrator used hard bound cover, glossy paper and acid wash color, and the natural colors that you see in our nature.

         To set the provocations, the teacher can challenge the children to say “Tikki tikki tembo-mo sa rembo-chari bari ruchi-pip peri pembo.

3 ways of presenting the story :
A. Puppet story: make a stage that made of box. Draw and cut the characters, attach to the sticks.
    You need four children to hold the puppet sticks at the back of the box stage. Tell the story.
B. Reading the story: read the book with the different voices to amuse the children.
C. Magnet story: you need magnet board, cut the characters and set aside. Tell the story and put the characters according the sequence of the story.

Extension activities:
A. The children can do a cultural danc, like dragon dance, Indian dance etc.
B. Challenge the children to write their full name.
C.  Have a discussion about different cultures.
