       This story is about the very hungry caterpillar. How this small insect turns into a beautiful butterfly. Children love to know the life cycle of butterfly, from a small caterpillar it becomes a cocoon and turned into a beautiful butterfly afterwards.
       The beautiful and colourful illustrations will drawn the children to look and listen the story.The illustrator used an oil pastel, coloured pencil and glossy paper.
       To set a provocations, have a coloured picture of the life cycle of a caterpillar, cocoon and a butterfly.

3 ways of presenting the story
A. Felt story, draw and cut a felt cloth in a shape of caterpillar, design and make it presentable, and all the pieces of fruits or food that are included in the story.
Let the children involve by putting every piece of fruit and food that the caterpillar eats for the whole week.
B. Reading the story, you need a book, chunk it by asking children if anyone see a butterfly? Or if they are afraid to touch a caterpillar? because of it's look frickly and soft body?
C. Picture books, we connect the children to the book by pointing out the details of different objects.

B. Eating healthy food according to Canada Food Guide, importance of food in our body.
C. Learn the 7 days of the week by saying and recognizing the words.
