predictable pattern books

          This story is about the house that is tidy and neat, but when the mom left the mouse, the cat, dog, a boy and a girl made a mess. When the dad comes home they clean the house. The mom comes in a tidy and neat home.

          Using this book, the children will learn how to help each other and treasure the tasks of individual.

          The illustrator used the hard bound cover and glossy paper.The picture is very clear and the children will enjoy the story.

          To set the provocations, the teacher can ask a question like "Are you helping your mommy to clean up your room?".

3 ways to present the book :

A. Felt Story: have a felt board and a felt character of the story ready. Tell the story according to the sequence of the story.
B. Reading the story: read the story with intonation of the voice.
C. Basket story: you need basket and props. Hide the props in the basket. Take out the character according to the sequence of the story.

Extensions:

A. The teacher can ask/tell/show to the children how to clean the room/house and tell them the importance of hygiene.
B. A discussion where do animals live.
C. Have a field trip and show the children the different places in a nice ambiance.
